So if you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of months you may not have noticed this but Google has been canceling Google Adsense publisher accounts for a couple months now. Big names like Spencer from NichePursuits.com and Zac from ZacJohnson.com have had their accounts shutdown recently. Reason – generic from Google saying they could be a risk of encouraging invalid clicks and therefore their accounts have been deactivated after 7 or more years! Can you appeal and get your account re-activated? Yes. Are you likely to get your account turned back on? No. Any reasoning why they won’t help. No. It can be very frustrating working with a large company like Google because they can do whatever it is they like and you are basically at their mercy. You can do your best to follow their rules and still have your account banned. However after reading a lot of comments and ideas from people here is a list of things I think you should avoid to not get your Google Adsense account banned. Maybe 30 or so is more reasonable) Do not create gambling, drugs, or any other type of website that goes against Google Adsense TOS What Should You Do Instead? Well instead of creating hundreds of niche websites that are optimized with Google adsense you can focus on just a few authority type niche websites. You can put a lot of hardwork, blood, sweat, and tears into a site that actually has very useful content and then put adsense on that site when you think its is fantastic and gives the searchers exactly what they want. This type of site is a lot more safe because it is a very useful site whereas site with only 5 pages isn’t very useful to the searcher. Also what you can do is create a niche website that is monetized with other sources such as media.net, infolinks, clickbank, amazon associates, etc to name a few. With a lot of these other monetization strategies you actually get an affiliate manager that will actually listen to you and take your feedback and let you know if your site is against their TOS. They won’t just randomly ban your account and not give you a reason why you’ve been banned. What you should really be doing with your online business at this point is diversifying your income into multiple streams of income. This [...]
